The answer in one line

Combine both Scissor Blades into Scissors, cut the 6 hallway cutouts that look out of place, fit the 6 Cardboard Pieces into the torn DEVORA poster in the director's office, then burn the rebuilt poster with the Lighter to get the Bathroom Key (the bathroom holds the Mop Handle).

Where the puzzle is

The torn DEVORA poster hangs in the director's office (the A.S. room) in the 2nd-floor film offices. The hallway outside is lined with cardboard cutouts.

Six of those cutouts look different from the others. They are the poster's missing pieces. Once rebuilt, the poster shows a flame that was never part of the design: a hint to set it on fire.

What you need

  • Scissor Blade x2: the first one is on the 2nd-floor kitchen counter (you used it on the A.S. door), the second is on the director's desk
  • Lighter: you should already be carrying it by this point; the exact pickup spot is not confirmed in our sources

Step by step

  1. Make the Scissors

    Take the second Scissor Blade from the director's desk and combine the two blades in the inventory. You get Scissors.

  2. Cut out the six odd cutouts

    Walk the hallway and use the Scissors on each of the 6 cutouts that don't match the rest. Each gives you a Cardboard Piece.

  3. Rebuild the torn poster

    Back in the director's office, use a Cardboard Piece on the DEVORA poster. A jigsaw screen opens: pick a piece, turn it until it fits and drop it in place. Repeat for all six.

  4. Burn the poster

    Use the Lighter on the finished poster. It burns away and leaves the Bathroom Key.

  5. Get the Mop Handle

    Open the bathroom to the left of the director's office with the Bathroom Key and take the Mop Handle. It is used in the next puzzle.

If it doesn’t work

I only have 5 Cardboard Pieces.
There are 6 odd cutouts in the hallway. Walk the whole corridor again and look for the one that still looks out of place.
The pieces won't go in.
Each piece has to be turned to the right angle before it fits. Use the rotate button on the jigsaw screen.
The finished poster does nothing.
Rebuilding it is only half the puzzle: use the Lighter on it to get the Bathroom Key.
