The answer in one line

Plug the Yellow RCA Cable into the camera and keep pressing it: stand in the woman's outline, break the glass when it looks see-through, take the Copper Seed from the bird, grow Copper Poppy Flowers in the green vase upstairs, give them to the woman figure and take the Copper Key from the chair.

Where the puzzle is

The classroom is behind the green door on floor 0 of the film school. A camera stands on a tripod and a monitor at the front shows a version of the room; with the RCA cable plugged in, each press of the camera switches to a different view, and what you do in that view counts.

Going for Ending 3 (VIVUS EX MORTIBUS)? Do this before you use the Copper Key door: use the Bible in this room, plug the cable into the camera and keep changing channels until enemies appear. Beat them for Iron Cross 3. Once you go through the Copper Key door you miss this chance. See the endings page for the full route.

The Ending 3 route needs Endings 1 and 2 already finished and a new game with the Bible. Only iampanax's endings guide states that prerequisite; we have not seen it confirmed elsewhere.

What you need

  • Yellow RCA Cable: from the collapsed statue in the electrical current room
  • Bible (Ending 3 run only): the table in the ground-floor lobby at the start of a new game

Step by step

  1. Plug in the cable and fill the outline

    Use the Yellow RCA Cable on the camera. Press the camera until the monitor shows a woman's outline, then walk into the outline so Julia fills it.

  2. Break the glass

    Keep pressing the camera until the glass panel looks see-through on the feed, then break it.

  3. Take the Copper Seed

    Press again until a bird appears holding a green seed. Take the Copper Seed.

  4. Grow the flowers one floor up

    Go up one floor and use the Copper Seed on the green vase. Take the Copper Poppy Flowers that grow from it.

  5. Give the flowers and get the key

    Back in the classroom, use the Copper Poppy Flowers on the woman figure. Then cycle the camera until a Copper Key shows up on the chair, and take it.

  6. Open the green door

    Use the Copper Key on the green door to reach the TV room and the elevator puzzle. On an Ending 3 run, finish the Bible and camera-channel fight first, because this door closes that window.

If it doesn’t work

Pressing the camera does nothing.
The Yellow RCA Cable has to be plugged into the camera first. If you don't have it, solve the electrical current room.
I can't find where the seed goes.
It is not in this room. Go up one floor and look for the green vase.
I already used the Copper Key. Can I still get Iron Cross 3?
The Ending 3 route says the Bible and channel fight must happen before the Copper Key door. Whether it can still be done afterwards is not confirmed, so plan on an earlier save or a new game.
